Privacy policy

How we handle personal information on this website.

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Who we are

This website, www.zoomash.co.uk, is run by Zoomash Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07838145), with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Zoomash Ltd is the controller of the personal information described here.

This policy covers this website only. Each of our products, such as WeatherAPI.com and WorldWeatherOnline.com, has its own privacy policy, which applies when you use that product.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we keep your name, email address and what you write, so we can reply.
  • Spam protection. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to check that messages are sent by people, not automated programs. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
  • Server logs. Our web servers record technical details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

We use this information to answer enquiries, keep the website secure, and improve it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to people who contact us. Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we rely on that consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website, such as Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA) and Mailgun (email delivery), and only as far as they need to provide their service. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get in touch again. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. To do any of these, contact us.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website uses cookies set by Google Analytics, and the contact form may set cookies from Google reCAPTCHA. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work without them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
